This old beauty of a tune was originally written for adults to sing in a musical theatre production in England. Yikes. Anyway, it’s a lot of fun – feel free to substitute animal sounds or weird squawks when you like! The first version here has low D’s in it so don’t forget that 3rd valve slide (see the Twinkle note). This would be a good tune to pencil in the spots where you should breathe. Put breath marks (using a comma above the staff) where you’d breathe if you were singing.
